About Kelly
I was born and raised in Acworth, GA where I am the youngest of two daughters by Ralph and Wanda Bilbrey. My older sister, Peyton, currently lives in New York, but I am trying daily to get her to move back to the South!
I am a graduate of the one and only Georgia Southern University! This is where I made some of the best memories of my life and met the man of my dreams! I graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine and now work for an Orthopedic Surgeon in Lawrenceville, GA. I consider our dog, Baila, my child. She is probably a good example of how spoiled my kids will be. I love being on the lake! I would prefer going to the lake over the beach any day! My favorite time of the year is fall and football season. I guess that is good for Tj ;)
About TJ
TJ is a proud product of Snellville, GA (where everybody is somebody). He is the youngest of Jelone and Marsha Anderson's two children. His older sister, Shey, lives in GA. She is the mother of Tj's niece and nephew, Daija and Christopher.
TJ is also a graduate of Georgia Southern University. He received his degree in Sports Management all while starting four years as a slotback for the Georgia Southern Eagles football team. He also played 2 years as a starter in arena football. Today he spreads his love and knowledge of the game as a Varsity Football and Basketball Coach, and Special Education teacher at Mountain View High School in Lawrenceville, GA.
TJ also considers our dog his child and won't admit that he spoils her more than I do. Tj's favorite thing to do is watch old football games or play NCAA. Tj loves everything to do with football ;)
How we met
The Story of TJ & Kelly: 7 Years and Counting
In the Fall of 2004 on the campus of Georgia Southern University we first noticed each other in the athletic training room. TJ was a senior football player and I was a student aquiring my observation hours to apply to the Sports Medicine program the next semester. After the initial sighting of each other we kept seeing each other around campus quite frequently. It wasn't but a few weeks later that on Big/Lil night for my sorority my Big Sister, Jenna, took me to her boyfriend's dorm to eat pizza, who just happened to be one of Tj's best friends. Low and behold while we were all sitting around eating pizza TJ walked in the room. Since it was obviously fate that we kept running into each other TJ asked to get my phone number. A few weeks later we were reunited again at the GSU homecoming parade. After that day we started keeping in touch through text and hanging out with the same group of friends. We still never thought we would become anything serious because he was graduating the next Spring. We told each other we would take it a day at a time. Our day at a time turned into a week at a time, then a month, then a year, and then quite a few years. Now in the Fall of 2011 we are planning for the rest of our lives together! |
